NIST Investigation of Probabilistic Software Programs Released

An independent investigation undertaken by Dr Michael Coble and Dr John Butler of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), which was presented at the 25th annual International Society for Forensic Genetics Congress (ISFG), Melbourne, Australia (2-6 September 2013), has just been released.  It compares STRmix™ with three other software programs.  The presentation can be accessed by clicking on this link:
